Painting Mud Flaps

Postby blueroadster on Wed Jan 20, 2010 4:24 pm

I have a new set of OEM mud flaps that I'd like to have painted with a color that matches the white used on the 06 Civic. Does anyone on the forum have the supplies and ability to do this? If so, how much would you charge to paint the front and rears?

Flexable rubber...I have to look for the color code as I don't remember it off the top of my head.

Found it...Color code (NH578) and color description (Taffeta White). It should be a single stage paint and would need a flex additive mixed in with the paint since the part is flexible.

Thats my concern is that the part is flexable, even with a flex additive I could still potentially see down the road cracking....I can do it though if you really want.

Going into the spray booth in a week or so...Gonna be spraying ABP and Taffeta White. If anyone needs anything painted in one of those colors now is the time. I hate cleaning the gun...If anyone needs one of those colors, Let me know, I will do the prep paint and finish on the part and adjust pricing fairly.

I've been thinking about getting the 2010 front bumper that I would need to have painted. Sadly, I have yet to order it so that will have to come later.
